Alis has extensive experience in visitor research, community consultation and marketing. As a consultant, Alis has undertaken visitor research, exhibition and project evaluation for clients as diverse as the Museum of London, British Library, deHavilland Aircraft Museum, Reading Museum, Tower of London, Modern Art Oxford and Hackney Church. She has worked with Julia Holberry Associates on National Lottery Heritage Fund Activity Plans for Leicester Cathedral, Chelmsford Museum, the RAF Museum, Dorset History Centre and the Garden Museum amongst others. Previously Alis held the post of Marketing Manager at Bishopsgate Institute, where she led on visitor research, marketing and audience development for a £7.1 million capital project. Alis has a Professional Diploma in Marketing and the Advanced Certificate in Market Research, and is a member of the Market Research Society, Chartered Institute of Marketing, Arts Marketing Association and Museums Association.
