We supported and guided BPMA staff writing their Round 2 HLF application and its supporting documents.

The Postal Museum is developing a new museum in central London, with an associated ride on the underground mail railway that connected their central sorting office to Paddington Station.  They received development funding in 2012 towards their £4.5 million bid to the HLF.

Julia acted as mentor to five members of staff writing the Activity Plan, Training Plan, Volunteering Plan, Business Plan, Conservation Plan and Management and Maintenance Plan and in completing the Round 2 form itself.  This involved regular contact with the authors of the documents, issuing a project plan for all documents, issuing task lists, report templates and examples of good practice to the authors, meeting them regularly and editing all documents.

The Activity Plan also included a Volunteering Plan, Training Plan and Evaluation Framework.
